Each year, Spring Branch ISD (SBISD) celebrates excellence in education through its annual Teacher of the Year recognition program, honoring educators who inspire students, foster growth, and make a lasting difference in their school communities.

This year, campus staff, students, parents, and community members poured their appreciation into the process by submitting an incredible 3,217 nominations. In total, 1,110 individual SBISD educators were nominated for this prestigious recognition, reflecting the profound impact our teachers have across the district and throughout our community.

Congratulations to Bunker Hill Elementary's Teacher of the Year, Lauren Nye!

Thank you for the dedication, passion, and commitment you bring to Bunker Hill Elementary each day. Your ability to create engaging learning experiences, build meaningful relationships with students, and foster a positive classroom environment helps every learner feel supported, challenged, and encouraged to succeed.

Through your care, expertise, and unwavering belief in students, you inspire curiosity, confidence, and a love of learning that extends far beyond the classroom. Your impact is felt not only by the students you teach, but also by your colleagues, families, and the entire Bunker Hill community.

We are grateful for the positive difference you make each day and proud to celebrate this well-deserved recognition.

Thank you, Ms. Nye, for your outstanding service to Bunker Hill Elementary and for helping students grow academically, socially, and emotionally as they prepare for a bright future.
